The Vathuveettil provision shop and bakery,
Pushpangadan’s tea shop, vegetable market, General Store, Co-operative milk
marketing shop, Party offices, P.K.M. Club, cement outlets, sanitary dealers ,
artisans, cobblers and hair cutting saloons are
all situated here. In the adjoining
secular open spaces around, people of all castes and classes mingle. It is here that meetings and public issues
are discussed. Various elite representatives are challenged and hopes for an
egalitarian society aired in this venue.
