A CRITICISM

The criticism of palmistry and ‘Nadi Jyotish’ or astrology often rests with the lack of empirical evidence supporting its efficacy. Scientific literature typically regards palmistry as a pseudo-scientific or superstitious belief.  Skeptics often include palmists on lists of illegal psyches by using high probability guessing and inferring details based on signals or clues from their customers.

I staunchly believe that the sun and the other stars, the planets and the moon, the earth’s satellite, have direct influence on the earth and the beings therein. The veteran ‘Jtotish’ and the palmists and the ‘Nadi Granthas’ are capable of giving vital clues about our life. More research is required to unfurl the mysteries of Mother Nature.  I hope the younger generation would be able to give cogent reasons for each characteristic noted by them especially what is their purpose?  Why they were born? What ‘Karma’, actions or daily services or purposes, they bring into their life?

There are imposters too among the varied fortune tellers. I used to marvel the various methods they adopt to attract the pedestrians and fleece their money. The police, at times, scare them away since they cause traffic block on the main thoroughfare.
